God through Martha built a multi million dollar business with her hobby. Martha is passionate about helping others do the same thing!

From schoolteacher to college professor to entrepreneur, Martha Campbell Pullen, Ph.D. absolutely loves the business world! She thrives on hosting Martha’s Sewing Room (PBS-17 years), writing books (55 so far), teaching sewing, hosting events worldwide, writing weekly newsletters, leading Christian conferences, and Facebooking, blogging and twittering! She has taught sewing on 6 of the 7 continents and she has no intention of traveling to the 7th to teach the penguins. Her most unusual international teaching gig is that 13 episodes of Martha’s Sewing Room have been translated into Japanese by Japanese Public Television! You should hear her speaking Japanese while showing the gorgeous heirloom clothing. Her magazine, Sew Beautiful is 25 years old and has subscirbers worldwide.
She has been named Huntsville/Madison County Executive of the year, the 9th distinguished daughter of the Daughters of the Americna Revolution an honor she shares with Elizabeth Dole and Janet Reno, and the 5th recipient of the Hall of Fame of the American Sewing Association.
She and her missionary daughter in law, Suzanne Crocker, have written a cookbook which is really a cookbook, a devotional book and a memoir book. It has been re-published by Adams media and is available at Rivenbark and Roper locally or from Amazon.com under the title, Martha Pullen’s Southern family Cookbook. She is putting the finishing touches on her revised business book which was published in 1999 by Lifeway. Her new title is G.R.A.C.E. Entrepreneurship. A devout Christian she gives total credit for her business to God who happens to be the CEO. Martha has conducted devotional/prayer services all over the world in conjunction with her sewing events.

She is married to the most wonderful man in the world, Joe Pullen, DMD; they have 5 children and 18 grandchildren. Her three passions are God, family and business!
